Prince William and Kate Middleton met in 2001. Ten years later, on 29 April 2011 Kate Middleton and the Prince got married at Wedsminsters Abey in London.

Prince William met Kate Middleton meet at St Andrew's University in Scotland. In their first year, William and Kate lived in the same building. William was unhapy at university and wantet to lieave. Kate convinced him to stay, and to ch ange courses, from History of Art to Geography. Later, Kate and William's friendship became romentic. But they did not want to marry immediately. The British gave Kate the name "Waity Katie" Because she waited for William to ask her to marry him. Now everyone is happy and agrees that Kate is perfect for the prince! The British have always loved Prince William. His mother, Princess Diana, was adored by the p ublic. She died in 1997. Many people think that William should be the next king of the UK, not his father, Prince Charles.

Royals normallhy marry hn obility. But Kate Middleton is an exception Kate is from a rich family, but they are not royalty. Some of her ancestors wr poor miners and her mother as an air hsotess. The Brithish think it is incredible that "commoner" will marry the future king of the UK.
Kate has a reputation for being a quiet serios girl. But some of her friends say she dreamed of bing Princess Catherine before she met William! This might be why she chose to study at St. Andrews University where she could meet Prince William.


Did you know that... Kate's parents started selling party accesories on the internet. At first, they ysed their children as models for their catalogues. They soon bec ame millionaires and were able to pay for Kate to go to the best British schools.

Did you know that... William asked Kate to marry him in November 2010when they were on hlidya in Africa. He gave Kate a sapphire engagement ring which belonged to his mother Diana, Princess of Wales.

We did a good presentation because we prepare it a lot. I think I need to improve the pronounce of the vocabulary.
