Youngest mountain climber
Big Bear, California
Thirteen-year-old Jordan Romero from California has become the youngest person to climb Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain, with his father, step-mother and to Sherpa guides. Romero - whose goal is to climb the highest mountain on each continent - now only has the Vinson Massif in Antarctica to climb. After Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa in 2006, he climbed Kosciuszko (Australia), the Elbrus (Russia), the Aconcagua (Argentina), and Mount McKinley (Alaska).
